shop till you drop

so i ended up watching "secret" again (the jay chou movie), its a dam good movie, i dont think i can ever get bored of it and i'm still trying to find the real dvd version so i can officially add it to my personal collection, its definitely a lot harder to find it then i first thought. but i'm gonna keep looking none the less.

so the most hectic day of shopping day of the year came and pass and luckily i was able to become a part of it... as an innocent bystander of course. seeing all the deals going on, its hard to argue against the craze surrounding this, but it was fun none the less.

although there seems to be less lineup than what i recall from previous boxing days, but the number of people walking inside the malls were insane at the very least. the craziness all started in the parking lot, where even grandmas transforms into maniacs... getting a decent parking spot is a victory within itself.

but by the end of the day, i was glad that i didnt buy anything, because when this month's credit card bill comes... its gonna be an ugly scene....

On the move...

moving over here from xanga... don't know why =D i guess we'll see =D

continuing from the last time i blogged... which was 2 months ago =S

recently there was a jay chou concert at the ACC, and the way i see is it that it was both GREAT and aveRage... great being the fact that the dude actually came here, although the wait for 8 yrs, but it was well worth it, he was nothing less than what i expected him to be and i'm for real when i say hes definitely one of my idols (thats right!!!) The guy is a maestro with music in general and a prodigy when it comes to song writing... can't give enough props to some with that kind of talent, and non of the imitators come even CLOSE!!

but on the other hand it was average because i expected so much more, i mean there are 8 cds of songs to choose from, and i thought some of the songs (especially the ones he sang for encore) wasn't really the best of selections, but hell it was still a dam good concert!


well today was my first day back at work from my week long vacation (which i originally took for the jay chou concert) and theres just sooooo much stuff to do at work... its like non stop waves of people wanting to do something with their money =( so i actually stayed till 630 at work actually doing work!! thats insane, and i still need to finish up some paperwork tomorrow when i get back to the office. but i guess thats better than sitting in the office staring out the window watching the snow pile up, time goes by much faster and it also helps me stay awake at work,, much harder to do when theres NOTHING to do in the first place... getting back to the office is something that i'm not looking forward to, especially when i take a look outside the window. well earlier than usual alarm for waking up early to shovel snow =(


well if anything its that time of the year again... shopping, spending, then realizing that you've actually gone over your budget and now you're trying to figure out what the heck to do with that credit card bill... its a repeating cycle, so i guess it might as well be added as one of the constants in life =D i kinda went all out this yr for christmas... spending a little more than i thought i would, but what the heck right, christmas aint no time to sting, especially not with all the deals going on =P (spend now, save later)


another thing thats been on my mind is whether i should visit hk/japan next yr... i mean for a decent trip i would have to save up 2 month's pay to pay for the darn thing, and i'm kinda in a intense saving mode right now... so thats kinda conflicting with each other, and also i need to be able to take that many days off for the trip, i'm thinking somewhere in the neighbourhood of 3 weeks... 1 wk for the japan trip and 1.5 for HK... sounds sturdy enough for me... but we'll see if it flies... tag that on as my to wish for list

well tomorrow after work i'm going to hang out with the guys, grab a drink and just chill out for the freaking night, nothing like a night of grabbing a beer and doing a whole lot of nothing =D

well anywho, hopefully i'll blog more frequently than once every 2 months, i'm aiming for a biweekly thing... =P
